Welcome to

YOUR

virtual library information Center!

Visit often to search for information and books, preview new resources, learn about available services, and connect with other members of our BMS community.

Our mission is to ensure that all students and staff are lifelong readers and effective users of ideas and information.

Common Belief:

The continuing expansion of information demands that all individuals acquire the thinking skills that will enable them to learn on their own.

The amount of information available to our
learners necessitates that each individual acquire the skills to select, evaluate, and use information appropriately and effectively.

Banned Books WEEK

Banned Books WEEK

Join us in the library for our first lunchtime chat on Wednesday, September 30 during all three lunches.  The first lunchtime chat will feature a discussion led by a public librarian about intellectual freedom, and our right to read.  We will discuss why books are challenged, and why it is important to protect our intellectual freedom. Did you know that titles like Harry Potter and The Bridge to Terabitha have been challenged and even removed from library shelves before? Sign up today for our first lunchtime chat!
